Pencil Pleat
Pencil pleat is the standard heading you will see on most curtains. A three-inch threaded tape is applied to the heading of the curtain that can then be tightened to the desired curtain width during fitting. Pencil pleat heading offers style and versatility as it can be used with either tracks or poles.

Eyelet
Probably the most contemporary of the heading options and certainly the easiest to fit and install. Metal rings, with a 4cm diameter, are positioned across the top of the curtain to allow them to slide along your curtain pole. This heading is for use exclusively with curtain poles.

Double Pinch Pleat
Double pinch pleat offers a more contemporary option, where a permanent pleat is sewn into the heading of the curtain, featuring two 'pinches' of material on each gather and using a buckram backing to help form the distinctive shape.

Great for modern or traditional settings, double pinch pleats are best suited to curtain poles, but are compatible with tracks as well. The pleats are 80mm height, have a pleat depth range of 27-32mm and the distance between the pleats range between 120-141mm. Spring backs are 5cm on each side for this product.

Triple Pinch Pleat
Triple pinch pleat, like double pinch pleat, is a permanent pleat sewn into the heading of the curtain, featuring three 'pinches' of material on each gather and using a buckram backing to help form the distinctive shape.

Great for modern or traditional settings, triple pinch pleats are best suited to curtain poles but are compatible with tracks as well. The pleats are 80mm Height, have a pleat depth range of 22-25mm and the distance between the pleats range between 127-137mm. Spring backs are 5cm on each side for this product.

Standard lining

Our standard option available on all curtains, made from an White coloured polycotton twill lining in 70% Polyester 30% Cotton.

Blackout lining

An upgrade to the standard lining, which will be ideal for rooms where darkness is essential, such as bedrooms. This lining also offers improved thermal properties due to its increased weight, when compared to the standard lining.

Bonded Interlining

The ultimate upgrade is this energy efficient thermal lining with extra padding for a luxurious feel and look. The thicker material also offers some sound absorbing benefits too and, whilst not offering full blackout (like the Blackout lining), it does have improved room darkening properties compared to the Standard lining.

Eyelet Colour ?

Metal rings are inserted in to the heading of your curtain and are available in the below colour choices:

Eyelets have an internal 40mm diameter, so please ensure you have a curtain pole which will fit. The optimal size for a pole is 28mm - 35mm.

Eyelets offer a contemporary, uniformed look and are easy to hang. Simply slide your curtain onto your curtain pole (remembering to secure the end eyelets behind the supports), and hang!

This Made to Measure Curtain comes fully lined to help protect them from fading, provide better insulation and give a quality 'feel'. The lining used is white polyester. All Curtains have other optional linings such as Blackout - these are options during the ordering process.

Pairs with the same drop will be pattern matched. Please speak to us if you require pairs with differing drops to be pattern matched.

All items are cut to size and will be accurate with working tolerances and variances of +/- 5mm.

Dashes of slightly dark colour bring Rhea Ebony made to measure curtains to your attention because of the way they complement the smooth black hue that makes up the majority of the fabric. This all combines to give you a luxurious visual that's truly easy on the eye.

Breaking up your secondary surfaces allows you to add depth and authentic detailing to your space without feeling the need to crowd it out with too many ornate pieces. Weaving in other complementary textures like cracked leather and stained wood could be worth some thought.
